Junior tennis · Ages 3–18

Find your kid a practice partner, close to home.

Rallus helps parents find nearby junior players of similar age and ability, set up matches family-to-family, pick a court, and track progress — without giving kids accounts or chat.

Lessons are booked. Practice partners are the hard part.

Outside lessons, teams and tournaments, setting up a friendly match usually means guessing, group texts and two busy parents trying to line up a time.

The right fit is narrow

Age, ability and ball color all need to line up for a match to be fun for both kids.

Nobody wants to drive an hour

A good partner across the county isn't much help on a school night.

Two families, two calendars

Coordinating times, courts and who's driving takes more effort than the match itself.

From "anyone free?" to game on

Family-to-family matchmaking. Not a social network, not a tournament site, not a coaching marketplace.

  1. Add your kids

Create a parent account, then add up to six players with their age, skill level and ball color.

  2. Find a partner

See nearby players filtered by age, ability and distance. Broadcast when you're free, or invite one family directly.

  3. Agree on a time

The other family accepts, declines or suggests a new time. No back-and-forth texting.

  4. Pick a court

Rallus suggests courts near the halfway point between both families.

  5. Play and confirm

One family enters the score, the other confirms it. Only then does the rating update.

Court finder

Meet in the middle. We'll find the court.

Once a match is set, Rallus maps public courts near the halfway point between both families, so nobody gets the long drive.

Areas are approximate. Home addresses are never shown.

Suggested courts

Court data comes from map sources. Check hours and access before you go.

Every kid plays their ball. You pick which one.

Ages below are USTA guidance, not rules. Older beginners can stay on a slower ball, and younger players ready to move up can too.

  1. Red Ball

    Ages
    Usually 5–7
    Court
    36 ft
    Ball
    75% slower than yellow

Small court and a slow, soft ball so first rallies happen fast.

  2. Orange Ball

    Ages
    Usually 7–9
    Court
    60 ft
    Ball
    50% slower than yellow

Bigger court, longer points and the first real strategy.

  3. Green Ball

    Ages
    Usually 9–10
    Court
    78 ft, full court
    Ball
    25% slower than yellow

Full court with a slightly slower ball. The bridge to yellow.

  4. Yellow Ball

    Ages
    Usually 11+
    Court
    78 ft, full court
    Ball
    Standard ball

Full pace. Matched by rating, not just age.

Age guidance: USTA Net Generation. Ball speeds: ITF Rules of Tennis, Appendix VII.

A rating that grows with every real match

Each player gets a Rallus Rating. It helps us suggest fair matchups and shows parents how their kid is progressing.

  • Starts from the skill level you choose: Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced or Tournament.

  • Moves only after both families agree on the score. One side can't change it alone.

  • Keeps a full history so you can look back at every confirmed match.

The Rallus Rating is a matchmaking estimate. It is not an official USTA, UTR or WTN rating.

Made for the way families actually run

Co-parents welcome

Both parents share the household's kids and matches, each with their own login and alerts.

Up to six kids

Siblings on different balls and levels, all from one family account.

A level for every kid

Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced or Tournament — pick where your kid is today.

Invites and new times

Accept, decline or suggest another time. Cancellations and no-shows are handled too.

Reminders that help

In-app alerts and email, plus optional push notifications on your phone.

No app store needed

Works in any browser. Add it to your home screen and it opens like an app.

Built like a parent designed it. Because one did.

Kid safety isn't a feature we added later. It's how Rallus is built.

Adults hold every account

Kids never log in. There's no chat and no photo sharing. Everything is parent-to-parent.

First name and initial only

Other families see "Maya R.", an age range and a level. Surnames, birth years and contact details stay private.

Approximate distance, never addresses

Discovery shows roughly how far away a player is, not where they live.

Block or report anytime

Block a family or send a report in a tap. Our team reviews safety reports.

Two-family score check

Results count only when the other household confirms them, so ratings stay honest.

Delete anytime

Delete your account and your family's data whenever you want.

Questions parents ask

Is Rallus free?

Yes. Everything is free during the pilot. There are no subscriptions or paywalls.

What can my kid see or do in the app?

Nothing — kids don't have accounts. Parents create the profile, arrange matches and confirm scores. Kids just show up and play.

My 12-year-old is just starting. Can they play Red or Orange?

Yes. You choose the ball color. The age ranges are guidance, and all four balls are open to players ages 3–18.

Is the Rallus Rating the same as USTA, UTR or WTN?

No. It's our own estimate for suggesting fair matches and tracking progress inside Rallus. It isn't an official federation rating.

Is there an iPhone or Android app?

Not in the app stores. Rallus runs in your phone's browser at app.rallus.io, and you can add it to your home screen.

We're not in Gwinnett. Can we still join?

You can sign up with any U.S. ZIP code. Matches depend on how many families near you have joined, so right now the pilot area has the most players.
